1. How do I go about getting granite worktops?
   • Use our online estimate system to get an idea of what the cost will be or call us now and speak to one of our friendly sales staff. If you are happy to proceed we can arrange a site survey and your granite could be fitted within 7 days from now.
2. What does the site survey entail?
   • Our surveyors need to visit you at home and carefully measure your kitchen. This process ensures that the worktops we make for you are a perfect fit.
3. How can you fit my worktops so fast?
   • We have our main base at our Manchester factory but we also have worktop fitters based all round the UK ready to service our customers needs.
4. Why is your granite so cheap?
   • Put simply, mistermarble cuts out the middle man, we own part of a granite mine in India, giving us access to the best choice of granite at better prices than anyone else.
5. How long does it take from placing my order to the install?
   • We aim to have your worktops manufactured and installed in your home within seven days. Our experienced fitters will do everything they can to ensure the process is as quick and convenient for you as possible.
6. Is it possible to see a sample of your granite?
   • Sure, just visit our Manchester based factory or contact us and we can send you a sample out. We use only premium quality granite and stock some of the highest grade granite available in the world.
7. Do you cover my area?
   • We cover all of the mainland UK.
8. When should I order my worktops?
   • You can order your worktops as soon as your kitchen cabinets are installed, screwed in place, and leveled. Once the kitchen is properly fitted, we are able to take the accurate measurements required to make your worktops.
9. What sizes do the worktops come in?
   • The maximum worktop sizes are dependent on colour.
     They are 3200(mm) x 610(mm) or 2800(mm) x 700(mm).
     The maximum size for Starlight Quartz and Crema Clara is 3000(mm) x 1400(mm).
10. How long does installation take?
    • Our worktop fitters usually take between 2-6 hours to carry our the worktop installation and complete finishing touches.
11. Will sink be plumbed in by your installation team?
    • Our installation team can install any sink you purchase from us and seal it in place, but you will need to employ a fully qualified plumber to connect the waste and taps.
12. What can I do to ensure my granite stays looking great?
    • Granite is exceptionally durable, but there are few things that can lead to etching or damage the finish. Do not chop food directly on the granite worktop. Substances like red wine could also stain your worktops if they are in contact with the granite for a prolonged period. To clean your granite worktops simply use a damp cloth or washing up sponge with soapy water.
13. Do you make marble worktops?
    • Marble is poorly suited for use as a kitchen worktop, quite simply it is not hard enough to endure the strenuous treatment a kitchen worktop undergoes. For this reason it is seldom used for kitchen work surfaces. mistermarble never recommends the use of marble in kitchens. Many cleaning sprays used in kitchens and even organic acids such as lemon juice can permanently damage marble.
14. What if I live upstairs?
    • You can still have granite worktops installed, although there is a small charge per flight of stairs, which is to cover the extra cost of labour for the fitters who will have to carry the slabs upstairs.
